Transport to Kotoka International Airport (ACC)
The airport is located roughly 12 km north of Accra and the journey there takes about 25 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic. Accra’s atmosphere of controlled chaos can make planning transport to the airport a challenging prospect, so your best bet is to leave with plenty of time to spare. For larger groups, you can hire one of the many privately-owned minibuses. Known in the local language as “tro tro”, these minibuses are usually very cheap.
